Sam Altman, the President of Y Combinator is visting tech communities in Europe.  The 3rd of June he will be in Krakow, Poland to meet founders and entrepreneurs to chat about startups, technology, AI, YC and more.
Sam is an american entrepreneur, programmer, venture capitalist and blogger.  In 2014 he became President of Y Combinator - the world's most succesfull startup incubator based in Mountain View, California. Since 2005 Y Combinator invested in over 1000 startups. Total valuation of all YC companies is estimated to aprox. $65 billion, including well-known companies like Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Docker,  Mixpanel, Heroku, Pebble, Instacart, Reddit.

Sam Altman was a Co-Founder and CEO of Loopt, a location-based startup acquired in 2012 for $43M. In 2012 he became President of Y Combinator an innovated with new initatives such us YC Fellowship, YC Research and Basic Income program. Altman and Elon Musk are the co-chairmen of OpenAI. The goal of OpenAI is to advance digital intelligence in the way that is most likely to benefit humanity as a whole, unconstrained by a need to generate financial return.
Jakub Krzych graduated Physics and Computer Science on Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He co-founded AdTaily - self-service advertising network that was later sold to AGORA, the largest media group in Central Europe. In 2012 he co-founded Estimote, Inc. and went through Y Combinator incubation program in Mountain View, California. Estimote has offices in Krakow and NYC and has raised to date $14M from top Sillicon Valley investors.
